Magpie is an AI-powered content production system built in Python, HTML, and Typescript at idealo. It automates the full pipeline from data to publishable creative, i.e. scraping product offers, rendering on-brand assets, and generating video content at scale across multiple European markets.

Active from 2014 to 2025, Barbaroffa was a cross-platform content project spanning YouTube (77k subscribers), Instagram (20k followers), and TikTok (10k followers).

Initially launched with a focus on gaming, the project evolved into a channel for current affairs commentary, international communication, and language content for Italian audiences.

The content had a strong generalist orientation, combining global narratives with culturally tailored storytelling. Over 15 million organic views were generated in the Italian market across more than 900 published pieces.

The project was monetized through multiple streams, including Amazon affiliate marketing, brand collaborations, consulting services, and Udemy video courses.

Barbaroffa functioned as an independent media lab—testing editorial formats, iterating across channels, and building community without paid promotion. The project demonstrated agility in content strategy, cross-platform adaptation, and audience development.

On-demand Courses

A series of bestselling Udemy courses focused on applied AI, language acquisition, and creator economy strategy. The curriculum combines hands-on use cases with a clear, accessible teaching style.

Topics include prompt engineering with ChatGPT, conversational English for Italian learners, and scalable content production on platforms like YouTube.

The courses generated 17,000+ enrollments and consistently high ratings, with no paid promotion. They reflect a lean, independent approach to educational content—practical, focused, and built for immediate value.
